About Mariana

Mariana Arambula-Damián is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board-Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and licensed by the State of California. She graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from National University in 2014 and received her Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Bakersfield in May of 2020. Mariana brings a wealth of clinical nursing experience to our team, having served as an ICU nurse and cared for COVID-19 patients, among others.

On a personal note, Mariana is a San Diego native and first-generation Mexican-American college graduate. She enjoys being able to provide a quality patient care experience across ethnic and cultural lines, which she accredits to being raised in a Spanish-speaking home. Mariana also studied and performed in a mariachi band (a type of traditional Mexican folk music) before attending college as part of her educational program for 8 years as a Vihuela player and singer.
