Jared M. Salvo, DO

About Jared

Dr. Jared Michael Salvo is a board certified physician in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Diseases. Dr. Salvo received his bachelors in biology from UCLA in 1995 and continued on to complete his Masters in Physiology & Biophysics from Georgetown University in 1996. Thereafter, he was accepted to the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. On graduating from medical school, Dr. Salvo returned to UCLA to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Hospital and then subsequently joined the UCLA Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship program. In 2007, Dr. Salvo chose to gain specialty fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

With multiple board certifications, Dr. Salvo specializes in arrhythmias, cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology. He focuses on the evaluation and management of each patient with an emphasis on the relationship between the patient and physician. Dr. Salvo keeps abreast to clinical research by engaging and collaborating with UCLA colleagues in the areas of cardiomyopathy and cardiophysiology. Dr. Salvo has garnered many awards and recognitions for his scholarly work and studies.

Dr. Salvo during his leisure enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and experiencing the tastes of ethnic cuisines. He is also a hot-rod car enthusiast and enjoys fresh-water stream fishing. He is a booster and regular attendee of the UCLA Football Program.
